Greg does the bulk of the facilitation and training, but is ably assisted by Carol and a large network of competent and like-minded associates when the need arises.
Greg Faasen
Greg has a BA and HDE from Wits and a Small Business Management degree from Damelin. He played professional soccer for Wits and spent 5 years teaching at St. John’s College in Johannesburg. In 1988, he founded Goalgetters with Gary Bailey. Greg has valuable facilitation, training and organisational development experience as well as knowledge in the NQF process and the setting of unit standards, having sat on a Standards Generating Body, within the Services SETA. Greg has also successfully designed and implemented distance learning for pay channel television.
Carol Faasen
Carol has a BA and a HDPM from Wits Business School. She was Human Resource/Admin Manager for a major transportation company, before joining Goalgetters. Carol ensures that all learning programmes are practical and results driven.
Over the years, Goalgetters has been able to call on the services of many high-profile sports and media celebrities, including Gary Bailey (ex-Kaizer Chiefs), Marks Maponyane (ex-Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates), Neil Tovey (ex-Kaizer Chiefs), William Shongwe (ex-Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates) and John Robbie.
